Steeltown Stair Climb

ABOUT THE EVENT

For over 100 years, The Lung Association has been dedicated to doing everything humanly possible to improve lung health and the lives of those who struggle to breathe.

The Lung Association – Ontario hosted the 4th Annual Steeltown Stair Climb, at the iconic tower located at 100 King St. W. in Hamilton, ON. The event was held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 in recognition of Lung Month, and to honour and help those who struggle to breathe.

Cinematic North interviewed a number of participants and organizers, including 93 year old Ambassador and stair climber, Walter Decker.

“Some say we have taken one step at a time.
Imagine the impact we’ll make together by climbing 487 steps and 25 flights of stairs!”

The funds raised at the event are directed to vital lung health research; those who participate play an important part in helping someone breathe a little easier tomorrow than they do today!
